The week went fairly well. Well, except for falling off my bike twice yesterday. It was raining, and I just get no traction in the rain. And getting eaten alive by mosquitoes (made the itching from the sunscreen pale in comparison). Oh, and having a bug fly into my eye on Thursday. It got stuck in the corner of my eye and actually stung me. That was definitely not fun. Getting up hills is much easier, if more tiring. And today, my butt is sore. Apparently, pedaling with clipless pedals uses different muscles than pedaling with toe-clips. Have I mentioned that there are an amazing number of hot guys in DC? And that most of them appear to run/bike on the bike paths?
